This event is one of the few weekend trips Cross Country Trail Ride LLC offers. It is designed for
those of you who work and can't get a full week of vacation time off. The event is from Friday
evening through Sunday evening with Monday thrown in as a travel day. Although there are no
activities scheduled on Monday you are welcome to stay that day and pull out Tuesday morning at
no extra charge, unless work calls you home earlier. This is the last weekend of summer in our area,
but temperatures are still warm enough to enjoy water activities such as swimming, canoeing, and
tubing. Riding is also nice at this time of year as the humidity is starting to fall allowing guests to
enjoy a comfortable ride even in the afternoon. Reservations are accepted for stalls only. Camping is
not an issue as average attendance is 1,000 to 1,200 guests. Reservations may be made by mailing $15
per stall to: Cross Country Trail Ride, LLC, PO Box 15, Eminence, MO 65466. Phone number is 573-
226-3492

Scheduled activities include a horse show sponsored by the Missouri Wild Horse League on Friday
evening, a concert by a Nashville recording artist Saturday evening, and dances nightly with music
provided by Jonesey. Your admission also includes 3 meals per day and camping for the weekend.
Admission is $135 per adult, $100 per child (6-11), $40 per child (3-5), and $10 per child (2 &
under).  Stall rent is $15 each for the weekend and their use is mandatory. If you can't come to stay
for the weekend perhaps you would be interested in just spending an evening with us. Tickets for the
evening will be available at the front gate on Friday and Saturday at 1:00 p.m. Ticket prices are $10
per person on Friday, $25 per person on Saturday. Tickets do not include an overnight stay.
Participants in the horse show will be required to purchase a ticket. You may arrive as early as 8:00 a.
m. Monday, August 30, 2009 at no additional charge. You will need to plan on providing your own
meals until Friday, September 3rd. We hope you will consider joining us for the last weekend of
summer, it's guaranteed to be a good time!
