NOTE:  Any member 18 years of age or older must apply at the single rate and cannot be carried on
their family’s membership unless they are a Senior in High School.  All members must abide by the
Club's rules.  All memberships are subject to approval by the BARUC’s Membership Committee and
General Membership.  Once approved, new members have a 6-month probationary period.  You will
be notified upon approval.

Club activities include:  monthly membership meetings; Trail Rides; Barrel & Riding clinics; 6 family
Playdays a year; Queen/Princess/Sweetheart contest; family nights (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays
and Saturdays through December 21, 2009) at the arena; Jackpot Barrel Racing Series; Parades;
Rooster Days Rodeo (May 14-15. 2010), Barrel Racing Jackpots; Other Events and Year-End
Awards Banquet.

The Broken Arrow Round-Up Club’s facility is located at Highway 51 and Oneta Road.  Turn south on
Oneta Road for ½ mile.  Any member may purchase a key to the entrance and arena upon request for a
$5 refundable deposit.

above address or bring it to our next General Meeting which is held the second Thursday of each month
at 7:00 p.m. at the Golden Corral Buffet & Grill at 71st & Mingo in Tulsa.  If you have questions about

                          BROKEN ARROW ROUND-UP CLUB RULES

1.        I understand that my family and I ride at our own risk when we ride on BARUC property and
that the BARUC, its officers, members and the Lease holder are not responsible for accidents, injury or
theft to me or my family and I have explained these same conditions to our guests.

2.        There shall be no animal cruelty permitted on the BARUC premises or at any Club event.  
Animal cruelty is defined as over-exertion, the infliction of physical pain or the use of excessive force to
an animal beyond what is necessary for normal discipline.

3.        There shall be no one attending intoxicated and no drinking of alcoholic beverages at BARUC
playdays.  There shall be no use of drugs on RUC premises at any time.

4.        There shall be no cheating or attempts to cheat at any RUC activity or contest of any kind.
There shall be no stealing or destruction of RUC property or money at any time.

5.        There shall be no unauthorized use of electricity or lights at the RUC.  Through December 31,
2009, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays are family nights and the only nights when
lights may be turned on.

6.        There shall be no lending of gate keys to non-members.  There shall be no unauthorized use of
RUC facilities by non-members.  All guests must be accompanied by a member at all times.

7.        In order to be a member of the BARUC, you are required to try to help out a night or so at the
Rooster Days Rodeo, May 14-15, 2010.  

8.        Barrel practice may only be performed with the barrels placed on the yellow stakes.

9.        There shall be no behavior unbecoming or detrimental to the BARUC permitted at RUC
activities.  This includes causing trouble inside or outside the Club, excessive complaining, causing
disturbances or unnecessarily aggravating any officers, members or spectators.

                                                       EXPECTATIONS

1.        The last member to leave the arena should make sure lights and water hydrants are turned off
and that the entrance gate is locked.

2.        Everyone is expected to act in a safe manner at the RUC at all times.

3.        Everyone is expected to make an attempt to attend the RUC’s monthly meetings which are held
the second Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the downtown Broken Arrow Library.

4.        Everyone should try to help with the numerous events at the RUC throughout the year, including
scheduled work days.

Failure to abide by the foregoing rules by a member may result in disciplinary action, up to
and including loss of membership, with no refund of dues.  Failure of a non-member or guest
to comply with these rules after they are made aware of them may result in disciplinary
action, up to and including the non-member or guest being permanently banned from the
arena.  Annual membership next year may be based on each member’s performance from the
